By Biehle creates custom silk scarves and pocket squares for weddings, events and premium gifting. Every piece is printed and hand-finished in Como, Italy. Pricing, standard minimums and timing are below.

Send us your print-ready artwork, or personalize one of our existing designs. We review the file for print quality and make small production adjustments where needed. We do not create original artwork from scratch. For a fully bespoke design we recommend Ceci New York.

If you would like to approve the result in your hands first, we produce an optional single finished scarf before the full run.

We craft the full run in Como, hand-roll every edge, package each piece, and ship it to you.
Custom pricing depends on the size and the silk you choose. Every price includes the print, hand-rolled edges, and free worldwide shipping. Customs and duties are covered for deliveries within Europe and the United States.

Prices are per scarf and include hand-rolled edges. The exact figure within each range depends on the fabric, from silk cotton through to silk cashmere.
Why there is a minimum
Each order requires custom colour mixing, press calibration, silk preparation and quality testing. The table shows the standard minimum for each size.
Planning two designs or sizes? Depending on the combination, we can often split the minimum across two designs or sizes when they use the same silk fabric. Send us the mix you have in mind and we will confirm what is feasible.

Optional sample
A finished, hand-rolled sample takes three to four weeks including shipping. It is $550 for any size and fabric, and the full sample fee is credited to production.
Production
Once your final print-ready artwork is approved, the production run takes five to six weeks including shipping. Production pauses each August. Send us your date and we will confirm what is feasible.
Choose the silk
We work in a range of silks, each with its own weight and drape.
If you are unsure which suits your design, tell us how the piece will be worn or gifted and we will guide you.
Prepare the artwork
Send a print-ready PDF or PSD file, ideally 300 dpi at final scarf size. We check every file for print quality and make small production adjustments where needed.
Already have invitation or stationery artwork? Send the print-ready file and we will confirm whether it is suitable for silk.
You can also personalize one of our existing designs. We do not create original artwork from scratch. For fully bespoke design, we recommend Ceci New York.
Custom orders can be finished with gift packaging: a custom printed envelope ($4), an envelope with ribbon ($5.50), or a handmade box with silk paper ($11.45).
Collection pieces arrive gift packaged with a Certificate of Authenticity included.
Custom orders ship free worldwide by DHL, with customs and duties covered for Europe and the United States. Our collection ships within the United States, in two to five business days, for a flat $11.90.

Yes. Send your color reference or Pantone and we match it on silk, then confirm it on the finished sample before the full run. Silk prints differently from paper, so the sample is where we get the color exactly right.
