Made in Como, Italy - The world capital of silk
Today, there are many artificial alternatives to silk fabrics that resemble silk. However, there is still nothing that can rival natural silk in terms of quality, look, and feel.
Silk yarn is transformed into silk fabric by weaving the threads. There are many ways to weave silk, each with a unique way of layering and weaving the silk yarn, resulting in fabrics with different textures, looks, and feel. Our standard collection of silk weaves represents the very high-end in fabrics used for scarf making.
100% pure silk. The distinguishing characteristic of the twill weave is a diagonal rib pattern and because of its high thread count it is opaque, thick, and durable with a nice drape. Like with good wine, silk twill becomes softer and more beautiful with age. It is the classic high-end scarf fabric.
